A high performance, customer-focused culture starts with our employees being given the tools and training they need to take care of our clients and exceed their expectations.

Chantilly, VA (PRWEB) November 19, 2013

Moss Building and Design, a family owned home remodeling company in Chantilly, VA, is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Weber as Human Resources Manager to its ever-growing staff and its goal to exceed their clients’ expectations.

Melissa is a Human Resources professional whose career has spanned over eighteen years in human resources, change management consulting, compensation, and recruiting experience in a number of industries. Prior to her career in human resources, Melissa worked as a business process consultant for one of the country’s largest consulting firms. Melissa has successfully worked with a variety of companies in a variety of industries helping them navigate through the human capital needs of an organization.

Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Villanova University. After college, she was offered a job with a major consulting firm and after she was asked to do college recruiting she knew that she had found her niche.

At Moss, Melissa’s responsibilities will be covering the everyday HR functions: HR administration, benefits management, payroll, company events and employee relations as well as fleet and building operation responsibilities. It is through her ability and experience of navigating through the needs of a company that will best serve Melissa in her new role at Moss. In fact, it was Melissa’s grasp of the Moss culture that stood out to co-owner Jason Hampel.

“A high performance, customer-focused culture starts with our employees being given the tools and training they need to take care of our clients and exceed their expectations,” Hampel says. He noted that Melissa understands that the culture of Moss is what should be driving business and not vice versa.

Moss continues to meet the demand in Northern Virginia from additions to kitchen and bathroom remodels to handyman services with a growing staff whose dedication makes the customer first on all levels of a project whether big or small.

Melissa looks to add to the Moss culture through her exceptional abilities and by recognizing the people that make up the Moss family.

“I know that people are the most important resource an organization has and when the people part is managed well and taken care, it should ultimately help the business run better,” Melissa notes.
