Oklahoma City Thunder Partners with Skyview Networks for AdView Inventory Management
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) November 19, 2013 -- The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Oklahoma City Thunder and Skyview Networks announced today a new multi-year broadcast solutions agreement. Skyview, an integrated play-by-play broadcast systems specialist, will provide its satellite distribution service and its latest software release to the franchise: AdView Inventory Management. With AdView, the Oklahoma City Thunder will have a panoramic view of all available and sold inventory, as well as detailed reporting and affidavits for clients.
“We are excited to partner with Skyview Networks to coordinate our distribution and inventory management. With Skyview's extensive major league sports radio experience and expertise, we are able to raise the quality of service we offer to affiliates within our Thunder Radio Network,” said Dan Mahoney, Vice President, Corporate Communications and Community Relations for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In September 2013, Skyview began upgrading the Oklahoma City Thunder’s radio affiliate network to its next-generation satellite distribution platform, including wise satellite receivers. These receivers provide the network flexible broadcast capabilities including record and play-back, time-shift and auto-failover to a backup internet stream.
AdView Inventory Management provides the franchise many tools to better manage radio broadcast inventory, including real-time access to logs from anywhere an internet connection is available. The system also provides detailed scheduled reports and affidavits of performance for advertiser clearance, greatly reducing the workload of the billing process.
“We are proud to partner with the Oklahoma City Thunder. It is exciting to be a part of this growing brand and we feel confident that our systems will aid network expansion and, with AdView, greater inventory tracking,” said Matt Stys, Vice President of Business Development for Skyview Networks. “We look forward to building a solid relationship as we continue to partner on play-by-play broadcast solutions.”
The radio broadcast hosted by veteran NBA play-by-play announcer Matt Pinto can be heard on flagship WWLS The Sports Animal 98.1 FM and its network of affiliates. For more information on the Oklahoma City Thunder broadcast and the 2013-2014 NBA season, visit http://www.thunder.nba.com.
