Brunswick City Schools and Brunswick Auto Mart Announce Naming Rights Partnership for High School Football Stadium
Brunswick, OH (PRWEB) November 20, 2013 -- Brunswick City School District today announced a long-term partnership with Brunswick Auto Mart for the naming rights to the Brunswick High School football stadium. The new name effective today will be Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium.
"Brunswick Auto Mart has long been a valued member of the Brunswick City Schools community," said Brunswick Schools Superintendent Michael Mayell. "This new partnership is further evidence of Brunswick Auto Mart’s commitment to our community and our schools."
Brunswick Auto Mart is a Brunswick, Ohio based automobile dealership representing a diverse range of manufacturers, including Toyota, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Subaru, Volkswagon, and Mazda. Brunswick Auto Mart also has two locations in Medina.
"This is a decision you make from the heart because you want to give back to your community," said Gary Panteck, Brunswick Auto Mart owner. "So many of our customers are families with kids in the Brunswick schools. We feel honored to be able to help support the district."
"This is a touchdown for the athletic department," added Brunswick Athletic Director Pete Demonte. "This is going to help us continue to support the level of participation in athletics for Brunswick students going forward."
Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium is the home to not only the Brunswick football team, but also plays host to soccer, track and field, and lacrosse. The stadium recently hosted the State of Ohio Marching Band finals competition and is considered a primary host stadium for OHSAA regional football playoffs. The Division II Regional Final game between Medina Highland (12-0) and Avon (12-0) will be held this Friday, November 22, 2013 at 7:30 pm at Brunswick Auto Mart Stadium. The stadium seats approximately 9500 fans.
Under terms of the agreement, the deal is for ten years, with a mutual renewal option. It is worth a total of $750,000 to the Brunswick City Schools over the life of the agreement. The money received will be earmarked for the Brunswick City School District’s athletic facilities.
"Schools and businesses are finding that working together on mutually beneficial partnerships has an exponential effect on not only the schools, but also gives the company deep roots into the community that they’re serving," said Larry Jaeger, Vice President of Brand Marketing for Hunter Education Capital, a company that specializes in naming rights valuation and who helped facilitate this agreement.
