Open Letter to Attorney General Eric Holder Requesting Release of IRP6

Dear Sir, what up?
That’s right Mr. Attorney General I’m setting protocol aside. Enough with the niceties and eating with the correct fork, it is time we got some grease on our hands. Hell, seeing that we are being fed a pile of crap we should at least be allowed to consume it in a way that makes it palatable, although I doubt that it ever will be. Have you ever heard of the IRP6 bro? No? Well, they are, Clinton Stewart, Demetrius Harper, David Banks, David Zirpolo, Kendrick Barnes and Gary Walker, six men wrongly convicted of fraud by your justice department bro. The convictions of these men not only represent authority inherently illegitimate, they also represent the households of six families who for the next 7-11-years will have six empty chairs around their holiday tables -six families without sons, brothers, and, husbands, and more importantly, fathers. Imagine that bro, can you?
I have noticed that ever since assuming the mantle as America’s number one sheriff, you have been tireless in your pronouncements and condemnations against injustice, in particular sentencing disparities and prosecutorial misconduct. Hmmm, prosecutorial misconduct, that one sounds familiar. If memory serves me correctly bro that is one of the first acts of injustice you took on as High Sheriff when you went after those federal prosecutors who withheld evidence in the trial of the late Alaskan Republican Senator Ted Stevens. Great job bro, you really showed them who was boss. You haven’t forgotten have you bro because there are six men in federal prison who believe that you have.
Do you remember what you said bro about the Stevens case, “I have determined that it is in the interest of justice to dismiss the indictment and not proceed with a new trial," adding, “the department must ensure that all cases are "handled fairly and consistent with its commitment to justice." That sentiment hasn’t waned has it Mr. Attorney General, I mean you still believe that don’t you? When I read the words “handled fairly” and “consistent with its commitment to justice,” I must ask you sir how would you define those terms. Would you define them as...
1. A former AUSA working in private practice conducting an illegal investigation
2. That former AUSA using his influence with his former coworker, a current AUSA to criminalize a civil matter concerning a debt in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 207(c)
3. That current AUSA convening a grand jury despite the fact the FBI had investigated the matter and found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing
4. The trial judge’s former association (law partner) with the law firm for which the former AUSA then worked
5. The trial judge lying in court about her association with the former AUSA despite that former AUSA stating in an interview that he, “knew her (the judge) well”
6. The trial judge presiding over a separate case involving a relative of one of the IRP defendants
7. The trial judge forcing the defendants under threat to dismiss their defense, to testify against their will in violation of their right 5th amendment rights against self-incrimination
8. Federal prosecutor AUSA Matthew Kirsch refusing to call his own expert witness because the witness’s testimony refuted the prosecution’s assertion that IRP executives were peddling a non-existent product
9. The trial judge’s refusal to allow the defense time to secure its witnesses after the prosecution rested its case two weeks ahead of schedule
10. The prosecution black-balling the defendants in their efforts to secure contracts involving the very product the government claimed did not exist in an effort to keep them destitute
11. The 200 pages of transcript that suddenly vanished after the trial judge refused to make those transcripts available to the defendants possibly because those transcripts contain evidence confirming the judge’s blatant bias against the defendants
12. The trial judge’s refusal to allow expert testimony of defense witnesses who would testify the IRP6 conducted “normal business practices” consistent with staffing industry standards
13. The very woman who threatened to “ruin” the IRP6 with federal government coincidentally bearing the same last name as the law firm for which the former AUSA currently worked and the trial judge formerly worked
Shall I go on bro or is the crap on the plate beginning to pile up –sure smells like it.
Forgive the lack of protocol bro, but frankly, I’m tired of this and I’m sure you are too, at least I hope that you are. Bottom line Mr. Attorney General is this, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist or a legal scholar to recognize a steaming pile, or when something is rotten, sometimes all it takes is the smell. I don’t know about you sir, but there are an awful lot of people whose nostrils are flaring and whose eyes are tearing. It’s time you made this right Mr. Attorney General and dismantled the authority that committed this prosecutorial injustice. Remember what you said sir about cases being handled fairly and consistent with your department’s commitment to justice and, if nothing else sir, think about those six empty chairs.
