Pursecase to Swim With the Sharks 11/22 on ABC's Hit Show “Shark Tank”
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 19, 2013 -- pursecase, a stylish clutch for easy access to your smart phone and just the essentials, will be making its Primetime TV debut FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd (9:00-10:00p.m., EST) on ABC Television Network’s hit show “Shark Tank.” (Episode 511). Pursecase creators, Kelley Coughlan and Jenn Deese, will be pitching their company to the tough, self-made, multi-millionaire and billionaire tycoon sharks.
Kelley Coughlan and Jenn Deese, two busy publicists from Santa Monica, CA and co-founders of Los Angeles boutique lifestyle PR firm Melrose PR, created pursecase when they saw a need in the market for something stylish to carry just your phone and essentials. As fashionistas and PR professionals, Kelley and Jenn rely equally on functionality and style. So when it came to their protecting their iPhone — something so central to their careers and lifestyles — compromise was the last thing they were looking to do. What are two 21st century girls to do when they want the protection of a phone case, the practicality of a purse, and a chicness that exceeds both? They invent it, of course. And with that, pursecase was born.
With patent pending on a unique design that includes the ability to hold any girl's essentials — cards, cash, phone, and a built in compact mirror — pursecase is not only chic, but also sensible. Gone are the days of digging for a lost phone inside a black-hole handbag and missing that oh-so-important call!
“We are honored to be a part of this exciting TV show. Pitching to the sharks is the opportunity of a lifetime! At the time of taping we came in with only pre-orders totaling around $30,000 so we hope that our experience in the Shark Tank will help catapult this brand to becoming a household name,” says Kelley Coughlan.
Jenn Deese says, “We hope the sharks see as much potential in this product as we do. We’ve put our blood, sweat and tears into making this product the best it can possibly be and we can’t wait to have America stylin’ and dialin’ with us!”
Of course, Coughlan and Deese cannot divulge what happens during the show or whether or not a deal is struck as the final edit is a surprise to everyone. The Sharks in the pursecase episode of “Shark Tank” include Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec.

About Shark Tank:
The Sharks of “Shark Tank” -- Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Kevin O’ Leary, Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec-- give budding entrepreneurs the chance to make their dreams come true and potentially secure business deals that could make them millionaires. The entrepreneurs who dare to enter the Tank must try to convince the Sharks to part with their own hard-earned cash and give them the funding they desperately need to turn their dreams into million dollar realities. But the Sharks have a goal, too -- to get a return on their investment and own a piece of the next big business idea. When the Sharks hear an idea worth sinking their teeth into, they’re more than ready to declare war and fight each other for a piece of it.
“Shark Tank” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format with stereo sound. This program carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
