Edina Realty Now Shows Most Current Status of Homes for Sale
Edina, MN (PRWEB) November 19, 2013 -- Edina Realty now displays additional property statuses of listings, including those that are pending or sold on contingency. This level of detail is new and allows visitors to edinarealty.com to search by status and also to view a listing’s status in the results.
Historically, this information has not been available to consumers, but a recent change by the Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS) now allows the status to be displayed.* Edina Realty is one of the first to include this search field.
Showing the status of pending and contingent homes is important, because potential homebuyers can clearly see which properties are still available for a showing. Contingent properties are under contract with a buyer but are still available for showings, while pending properties are also under contract but are no longer available for showings.

Potential homebuyers who search for homes on edinarealty.com can now filter by status – including active, pending, contingent or sold. On the property detail page, the status is shown both in the header and the listing information. An “i” icon appears on pending and contingent properties (available for showing or not available for a showing); consumers simply hover over the icon to see the definitions of the statuses for any properties they’re interested in.
Edina Realty’s website, mobile website, m.edinarealty.com and mobile apps all display the current status of listings. “It was important to us that customers be able to view property statuses when searching from any of their devices,” said Peltier.
