UrgentRad Teleradiology, LLC Announces Agreement with KJAYA Medical, LLC to Provide Improved Medical Imaging Software Services to Urgent Care Centers Nationwide
Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) November 20, 2013 -- Answering the demand for higher quality emergency teleradiology and patient care, UrgentRad Teleradiology, LLC (UrgentRad) has entered an agreement with KJAYA Medical in order to provide Urgent Care centers with improved medical imaging software services nationwide, according to UrgentRad Executive Director Tim Hogan.
“We understand that urgent care centers must be able to provide the same quality of care to their customers as large hospital emergency departments do, without all of the overhead expenses,” says Hogan. “Utilizing KJAYA’s efficient cloud-based medical imaging services, allows us to drastically speed up our workflow, and improve our productivity. This allows our customers to focus on what matters most, their patients.”
Hogan says UrgentRad’s American Board of Radiology certified radiologists, and KJAYA’s efficient and accelerated image management platform, allow UrgentRad to provide the highest caliber radiology service to urgent care centers nationwide at a competitive price.
UrgentRad’s new agreement allows its Urgent Care customers to have access to an FDA cleared Picture Archiving System (PACS) and radiology information system (RIS). They can even develop interfaces with electronic health record systems (EHR). According to Hogan, this means there is now a teleradiology company that allows automatic submission and receipt of reports directly from an EHR.
KJAYA’s workflow platform helps patients by enabling UrgentRad to take a “patient centric” approach to creating radiologic reports. This means the system facilitates communication between attending clinicians and the radiologists, thus improving the accuracy and timeliness of the reports.
"This service and technology agreement will keep UrgentRad at the forefront of improving the quality of healthcare for the rapidly growing Urgent Care community,” says Hogan. This happens by connecting patients, and Urgent Care doctors, with the best qualified radiologists in America, efficiently and with better results."
