ABPathfinder Releases Offline Capabilities in Software
Overland Park, Kan. (PRWEB) November 20, 2013 -- ABPathfinder, LLC, developer of special education and therapy management solutions, releases an update to its signature ABPathfinder software that extends the system’s data entry capabilities. The company announced the update today at OCALICON, one of the country’s largest national autism conferences. The new capabilities empower educators, therapists and other ABPathfinder users to input assessment data while offline.
The ABPathfinder system reduces time spent on special education and autism therapy paperwork and other administrative tasks, while tracking the progress of each individual in a special education or therapy program. The new capability enables ABPathfinder users to input data on-site, regardless of Internet connectivity. The ABPathfinder Version 2.4 release coincides with the company’s sponsorship of and presentation at OCALICON in Columbus, Ohio.
“Our goal is to provide the most flexible tool on the market for collecting therapy data,” said ABPathfinder CEO and President, Jeff Blackwood. “As we continue to grow by responding to customer requests, the power of our data analytics increases. This update maximizes the benefit by allowing real-time data entry anytime, anywhere.”
All data is time stamped for later syncing with the online database once a network host is available. Educators and therapists now have the freedom to record essential progress data in home sessions, the classroom, or any other location they’re administering therapy. ABPathfinder also added interval data collection, the last major data collection type to be included in the software, furthering the flexibility to use the software with each clinic’s preferred therapy techniques.
“We constantly cultivate our goals and desires as a clinic,” said ABPathfinder customer Jeff Skibitsky, director of Alternative Behavior Strategies based in Salt Lake City, Utah. “ABPathfinder continues to grow with us, meeting our needs with new features and capabilities.”
Other key new features include:
• Password recovery
• Four new reports
• Editable progress reports, which allow multiple versions to be specifically tailored for insurance carriers, parents and other audiences
• The ability to modify phase and condition lines on progress graphs, demonstrating the behavioral changes that could impact an individual child’s acquisition of behaviors
