National Association of Corporate Directors Hosts Diane D. Miller to Speak at Director Professionalism Course

Diane D. Miller, President and CEO of Wilcox Miller & Nelson, the Sacramento office of Career Partners International, will speak at the National Association of Corporate Directors’ (NACD) Director Professionalism course in Miami, Florida on December 10th, 2013. Ms. Miller will present “The Board as a Strategic Asset” to discuss the Board’s role in strategy.

The Director Professionalism course is the foundation course for the NACD Governance Fellowship. The course will present insights and commentary from experienced board directors and industry thought leaders regarding the tools, knowledge and networking needed to make a powerful difference in the boardroom. The course is designed to provide attendees with the practical tools and leading-edge insights to keep their board ahead of persistent and emerging challenges.

Ms. Miller, a specialist in executive and board searches and governance consulting, is a board member of the California Chamber of Commerce where she serves as vice chair of their PAC. She also serves as chair of the Northern California Chapter board of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and is a Regent at the University of the Pacific, where she chairs the Audit Committee.
