AddShoppers strengthens its social commerce platform with the acquisition of ShareYourCart.

AddShoppers, the leading social commerce platform for merchants, today announced their successful acquisition of ShareYourCart.

The acquisition of ShareYourCart helps AddShoppers strengthen its platform with its shopping cart abandonment reduction technology. The popular AddShoppers Social Rewards app will incorporate ShareYourCart’s methodologies and allow existing merchants using ShareYourCart to easily transition to the full suite of apps that make up the AddShoppers platform.

ShareYourCart was founded in 2011 by Andrei Barabas and Adela Salagean to help eCommerce stores decrease shopping cart abandonment and increase exposure with incentivized social sharing through Facebook and Twitter.
