Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 22, 2013

Command Strategies, LLC, a company of the Command Holdings Group, Inc., is pleased to announce the formation of a strategic partnership with Borski Associates, LLC, a government relations consulting firm founded by former U.S. Representative Robert Borski Jr. of Pennsylvania. Together with former U.S. House of Representatives Legislative Director Mark Trumbore, Borski Associates has nearly 50 years of experience working with decision-makers on Capitol Hill and in the federal government. Command Strategies is looking forward to the capabilities they are able to offer current and future clients.

Congressman Robert Borski Jr. served in the U.S. House of Representatives representing Pennsylvania’s Third Congressional District for 20 years. During his tenure, he became a senior Member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, serving as the Ranking Member on both the Highways and Transit and Water Resources and the Environment Subcommittees. His advocacy and legislative efforts resulted in significant improvements to Philadelphia's transportation system, including the Philadelphia International Airport and the Port of Philadelphia. He is highly regarded by his peers, and is widely known for both his personal and professional integrity.

Upon his retirement from Congress in 2003, Mr. Borski founded Borski Associates, LLC, a government relations firm specializing in transportation and economic development issues. Borski Associates provides a broad range of government relations services, from advocacy to business development to strategic and political guidance. Its clients include an array of municipal government agencies, including the City of Philadelphia, port authorities, and transportation and economic development interests. From 2003 to 2011, Borski Associates represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Washington, D.C., advising Governor Ed Rendell on a broad range of matters relating to transportation, homeland security, and emergency management.

Mark Trumbore joined Borski Associates in 2003 after nearly seven years of work on Capitol Hill in the U.S. House of Representatives. Mark handles federal relations for all of Borski Associates’ clients, advising them on federal initiatives, legislation, public policy, and political considerations that affect their interests. Before joining Borski, he served as Legislative Director to Congressman Robert A. Brady (D-PA) from 1999-2003 and was responsible for advising the Congressman on a wide range of issues, including those before the House Armed Services Committee. Mark holds a master’s degree in political science from Penn State University and a J.D. from American University’s School of Law.

“Former Congressman Borksi and Mark Trumbore are exceptionally well respected for their experience and their informed, strategic perspectives on transportation, homeland security and emergency response management. We are so pleased that this strategic partnership with Borski Associates will allow Command Strategies to expand our resources and capabilities on behalf of our clients,” said Tobias Rodill, President, Command Holdings Group.
