60 Real Estate Agents and Investors Attend Rick Rickert’s Intensive Full Day Seminar, Auction Pro Academy, in Mesa, Arizona
Mesa, Arizona (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- Rick Rickert, CEO of The Rickert Companies, a group of companies concerned with real estate investing, held his Auction Pro Academy November 13th in Mesa, Arizona. More than 60 realtors and real estate investors from Arizona, Nevada, and Southern California attended this full day intensive seminar that focused on buying properties at the public foreclosure auctions that take place every business day at county courthouses and Trustee locations throughout the US.
“The foreclosure auctions remain the place to be where you are able to acquire properties significantly below market value, which is what you need as a real estate investor”, said Rickert. “Real estate agents need to understand this process to be able to better serve investors and other clients”, he said.
Rickert, a licensed associate broker in Arizona, is an avid investor who has purchased over 150 properties at the auction for himself and another 2300 for his clients. “When I began buying properties at the auctions, there were no guides or seminars to teach how this works,” said Rickert. “Everything I am teaching is what I have learned in 16 years and systems I created to make it easier,” he said.” I have several proprietary tools I developed to keep investors from making mistakes and determining the right bid on any property at the auction.”
Among the most popular topic at the seminar was the sourcing and use of ‘hard money’, short term bridge loans that allow investors to have the money to acquire a property, as successful bids at the auction require payment in full by 5pm the next day, which makes conventional bank financing impractical. Investors use these bridge loans to acquire the property and pay interest only monthly until they sell, or refinance through normal methods such as banks and credit unions. “With ‘hard money’ loans, you don’t have to have a lot of cash to begin investing,” said Rickert.
Because of the great interest, Rickert plans on hosting 4 events per year, with the next one scheduled in January 2014. For more information, visit http://www.AuctionProAcademy.com.
