Cavitation Technologies, Inc. Announces Nano Reactor™ Technology Licensing Agreement between Industry Leaders, Desmet Ballestra and GEA Westfalia Separator

Westfalia Separator Group has been granted a worldwide exclusive license from Desmet Ballestra.

Cavitation Technologies, Inc. (CTI) (OTCBB: CVAT; Berlin & Stuttgart: WTC) announced today that Desmet Ballestra Group and GEA Westfalia Separator Group have entered into a new global technology license, marketing, and collaboration agreement with respect to CTi’s patented Nano Reactor™ technology. Under the new agreement, GEA Westfalia Separator Group has been granted a worldwide exclusive license from Desmet Ballestra and CTi in order to integrate CTi’s Nano Reactor systems into vegetable oil refineries that want to utilize the Nano Neutralization™ process and in other liquid processing solutions for the oils and fats industry. Desmet Ballestra, CTi’s strategic partner since 2010, is the current licensee and worldwide distributor of the company’s Nano-based vegetable oil refining technology.

According to Olivier Hanne, Desmet Ballestra’s Sales Director, “After a first stage of technical and commercial development, Nano Neutralization™ is now becoming a standard for the Oils & Fats industry, allowing to considerably save on chemicals consumption like phosphoric acid, citric acid, caustic soda, silica and bleaching earth as well as energy throughout the neutralization process - with a potential yield improvement. We are confident that this agreement between Desmet Ballestra and GEA Westfalia Separator Group will allow more industry players to benefit from this unique technology, with a good return of investment.”
