Hector Barreto, 21st Administrator of the Small Business Administration, Joins Lucrazon Global’s Board of Directors

Hector Barreto is a nationally recognized businessman who served 5 years as the Administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration appointed by President George W. Bush and was unanimously approved by the U.S. Senate in 2001. As Administrator, Barreto directed the delivery of financial and business development programs to America’s entrepreneurs from a portfolio of direct, guaranteed and disaster loans totaling more than $60 billion.
Mr. Barreto was also appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to serve as Commissioner on the California Commission for Economic Development; in addition, Founder of Business Matchmaking, the nation’s leading non-profit small business procurement program.
Other accomplishments include authoring “The Engine of America: The Secrets to Small Business Success from Entrepreneurs Who Have Made It!”, providing entrepreneur insights and winning business strategies from CEOs of 50 successful small businesses.

• Founder of “Tributo a mi Padre, Tequila” - A Tequila in honor of his late father, which was recently awarded a 5-star diamond award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences and the only Tequila in the world with this designation.
He is also a frequent speaker and media guest, panelist, and commentator on issues of concern to small business interests on mainstream and Hispanic media.
