An independent panel of judges from such respected publications as the Chicago Tribune, Crain’s New York Business, Dallas Morning News, Bloomberg Businessweek, Detroit Free Press, and USA Today have awarded Russell Sarder, CEO of NetCom Learning as Silver Best in Biz Executive of the Year for 2013 for Small Businesses covering one to 99 employees.

The Best in Biz Awards is an independent business awards program that provides annual awards in fifty categories including Company of the Year, Fastest-Growing Company of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Best Place to Work, Technology Department of the Year, Executive of the Year, Most Innovative Product of the Year, Best New Product of the Year, PR Campaign of the Year and Website of the Year. The Best of Biz Awards, now in its third year, are unique in that it is the only independent business awards program that is judged by industry members and members of the press. In 2012, NetCom Learning was awarded the silver Best of Biz Company of the Year award.

“Knowing that the judging committee is from top business media outlets who are conversant in the business world, top companies and company leaders makes this is a very special award for NetCom Learning,” said Sarder.

Judging criteria for the Best of Biz awards is based on an evaluation of company submissions including an overview of company and executive achievements and successes in the past year. All companies compete on an equal basis and hundreds of company entries are submitted each year from both private and public companies in the U.S. and Canada.

According to Samara Lynn, Best in Biz Award Judge and lead analyst of networking and business at PC Magazine, “This year’s Best in Biz Awards nominees offer services and products that reflect the most current trends in technology, from cloud computing through mobile devices to network connectivity. Truly, all of the nominees and winners represent the ongoing innovation and trends in technology that we who cover the space see on a daily basis.”

The years 2012 and 2013 have been stellar years for NetCom Learning, the leaders in business and information technology training. The Best of Biz Executive of the Year Award is one of many awards and recognition received by NetCom Learning including being a finalist for the Microsoft Learning Solutions Partner of the Year in 2013, an honor the company won in 2007.
