Angel MedFlight Air Ambulance Wins Second Emmy for Patient Series My Real Life Moment™
Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance took home a second Emmy Award for its video "Team Jaxon" - part of the patient story series My Real Life Moment™, which debuted this summer. "Team Jaxon" profiles the parents of 5-year-old Jaxon Davis, who tell the impassioned story of the brain cancer victim. The family's journey lead them to Angel MedFlight when their son's condition deteriorated during a family vacation. With the help of an anonymous family, friends and Angel MedFlight, Jaxon and his family were able to make it back to San Antonio Texas where they live, transported by medical flight.
The Emmy was awarded November 9 by the National Academy of Television Arts and Science’s Lone Star Chapter.
The My Real Life Moment™ patient video series was developed as an advocacy tool with the primary focus being to help the families heal by sharing their stories. Previously, the patient story “The Taylor Collins Project” won an Emmy from the Rocky Mountain Chapter.
