Located at 393 Main Street in Paterson, Eva’s Kitchen is a large, clean and sunlight-filled space where diners are welcomed 365 days a year - all who come are fed. Started in 1982 by Rev. Msgr. Vincent E. Puma, Eva’s Kitchen is the oldest component of what has grown to become Eva’s Village. Eva’s Kitchen began with a meal of franks and beans to 30 homeless people, and now serves over 1,000 meals every day to the homeless, hungry and working poor who gather at Eva’s Kitchen, and those in residence in various programs at Eva’s Village in New Jersey.
The Thanksgiving project is just one of the charitable drives undertaken throughout the year by NJ MET. For more information about NJ MET’s charitable works, please visit http://josephfederico.biz.
