DAT/EM Systems International Hires Tara Tate as Marketing Coordinator
Anchorage, Alaska, (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- DAT/EM Systems International is pleased to welcome Tara Tate as Marketing Coordinator at their Anchorage-based headquarters. She joins DAT/EM—and Alaska—from California where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from University of California at Santa Cruz with a major in Anthropology and a minor in History of Art and Visual Culture. She brings to DAT/EM strong experience in design, advertising, branding, sales, and market communication.
After graduating, Tate worked in San Francisco for a public relations firm as well as the Asian Art Museum, while studying graphic design and expanding her portfolio. She went on to develop and design advertising and sales campaigns for the hospitality and recreation industries.
Tara comes to Alaska from Monterey, California, where she spearheaded the Marketing and Communications efforts of the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. “I particularly enjoyed designing, writing and editing a weekly two page spread in the Monterey County Herald Newspaper,” she says. “I really look forward to using my skills in marketing communications and social media to enhance global awareness of DAT/EM’s brand.”
“Tara’s adventurous spirit makes her a natural fit with DAT/EM Systems,” says Jeff Yates, General Manager of DAT/EM. “We are excited to welcome her and her strong work ethic, positive attitude and marketing experience to Alaska and the firm”.
