New York, New York (PRWEB) November 23, 2013 -- The production team over at 24 Footwear is looking to collaborate with fresh, new talent from across the nation. Known for its array of unique textiles and fabric treatments seen on their combat boots, the brand has decided to open it's design process to a nation-wide contest. They are looking for all types of artists, graphic designers, painters, taggers, etc. to submit their ideas for a 24 Footwear boot. The submission period is between December 1-31, 2013.
The contest is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous U.S. and D.C., 18 and older. All submissions must be the original work of the artist/designer. No plagiarized material will be accepted.
Artists have to request a design template after reading the Rules and Regulations from the company's website. After the month long submission period is over, four finalists will be selected and announced in the first week of January 2014. The four finalists will then be sent a physical pair of 24 Footwear boots to create their final design. The four final designs will go through an open voting period by fans of 24 Footwear to determine one winner.
The winning design will be mass produced as part of their 2014 Fall Collection.
"24 Footwear prides itself in having unique flavors to our boots. We're very excited to see what hidden talent America may have to add to our collection. This will be a great opportunity for any artist or designer that's trying to create a presence for themselves," said Joshua Pinkay, the company's Brand Manager.
Instructions to obtain the Design Template, along with the Official Rules and Regulations are available on the company's website (http://www.24footwear.com) right now.
