Diane Johnson Joins the Team of Michael Swift & Associates at J. Rockfliff Realtors
(PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- Diane has been in the real estate field for about six and a half years. She has three and a half years experience as an appraiser in the San Francisco, Bay Area and three years experience in the real estate investment market. In her previous job she purchased homes through foreclosure auctions for rental properties.
Her main goal was to be able to help homeowners and tenants stay in their homes for at least a year after the foreclosure process. This twelve month time frame gives people the ability to digest their situation and make plans for their future without having to make an immediate life change. It also keeps them from uprooting their children from their schools, friends and social lives.
Diane also has completed three years of interior design school and is excited to bring her ideas and talent to help those who purchase homes needing renovation, updating, staging or just fresh ideas.
Michael Swift is a Real Estate Broker with over 23 years of real estate counseling experience. He received his real estate license at the young age of 19. Michael read every book he could get on the subject or real estate and customer care and went to many real estate seminars in order to learn as much about the business of real estate sales as possible. Although real estate is a tough business to succeed in, especially for someone very young, Michael flourished by focusing all of his time on making sure his clients were more than satisfied with the process. Currently Michael attributes 96% of his business to the referrals of his current and past clients.
Michael focused primarily on helping people out of foreclosure through forbearance agreements and short sales, for his first 4-5 years in the business, during the real estate down cycle of 1991-1995. Due to his overwhelming success helping people with these complicated scenarios, he was recruited (1993) to Re/Max Executive as an Associate Broker to train the office agents on how to negotiate forbearance agreements (the modifications of those days) and short sale transactions for their clients.
Currently Michael is an Associate Broker with J. Rockcliff Realtors in the San Francisco Bay Area. 2012 Michael was ranked #13 in production out of the 500+ agents at J. Rockcliff Realtors and in the top 1% of real estate sales nationwide.
Michael holds the prestigious designations of: Real Estate Broker (REB), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) National Association of Expert Advisors (NAEA), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Accredited Staging professional (ASP), Home Retention Consultant (HRC) Certified Foreclosure Specialist (CFS), Short Sale Foreclosure Resource (SFR) Certified Short Sale Professional (CSP) and Certified Short Sale Agent (CSSA).
Michael is often a guest speaker at real estate functions and most currently was a featured guest speaker at the 4th Annual Mortgage Servicing Convention in Dallas http://www.americanbanker.com/conferences/ms10/ and at the Best Practices in Short Sales/REO in San Diego http://www.nationalmortgagenews.com/conferences/ssr10/featured_speakers.html.
