recruit757 and Tidewater Physical Therapy Host Fourth Scholarship Workshop for High School Football Players
VIrginia Beach, Va. (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- The Game Plan will head to Virginia Beach next month and mark the fourth event in the Tidewater Physical Therapy and recruit757 series of college scholarship workshops for high school football players and their parents.
The Virginia Beach workshop will be held Dec. 10 at the First Colonial Tidewater Physical Therapy clinic and aquatic center, located at 1745 Camelot Drive, Suite 100, just off of First Colonial Road.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for athletes and parents. The workshop will start at 7 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m.
"We’ve taken this series across the 757 and have seen some incredible athletes and their families come out to get ready for the college recruitment process,” said Andy Hilton, founder of recruit757, a scouting and video service for colleges who turn to the region to look for quality athletes.
“We call it the Game Plan because you need a plan to get ready to navigate everything off the field that relates to the next steps in your football career,” including the recruiting process, financial planning and academics.
Scheduled speakers include:
• Paul Reed, PT, DPT, of Tidewater Physical Therapy and Clinical Director of the First Colonial Clinic
• Giavanni Ruffin, an NFL prospect and motivational speaker
• Michael Scott, parent of former University of Virginia and current Atlanta Hawk Mike Scott
• Bayport Credit Union representative
• Michael Gibbs, Compliance Officer at Old Dominion University
• Andy Hilton of recruit757
• Larry Archie, a former college athletic administrator and current Head Coach at I.C. Norcom High School
Space is limited. The first three seminars, held in Newport News, Chesapeake and Williamsburg, drew large crowds of student athletes and parents. Registration is required for this free event.
Players are encouraged to wear their jerseys for an updated profile picture on recruit757.com.
