VISTA Sponsors Company Team for Army Ten Miler
McLean, VA (PRWEB) November 24, 2013 -- VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) was proud to support the Army by sponsoring a Company team in the 29th Annual Army Ten Miler. The VISTA team crossed the finish line with 30,000 other runners for the race that took place on October 20th in Washington, DC. “We are really proud of our VISTA runners. Their commitment to training, their passion in supporting our US Military and their demonstration of camaraderie is inspirational,” commented VISTA President & CEO, Rod Buck. “Sponsoring a team continues our long tradition of supporting the military through a variety of ways.”
About The Army Ten Miler
The mission of the Army Ten Miler is to promote the Army, build esprit de corps, support Army fitness goals, and enhance community relations. Registration fees and sponsor contributions go to support the Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs and about $800,000 was raised this year.
The Army Ten Miler is the third largest 10-mile road race in the world. It begins and ends near the Pentagon and provides a scenic race route throughout downtown DC. Next year’s event is scheduled to take place on October 12, 2014.
