(PRWEB UK) 22 November 2013 -- Aer Lingus today announced additions to its schedule for summer 2014, with new routes and increased frequencies being added to Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.
New routes from Dublin to Hanover and Pula will start from April, joining recently announced new services to San Francisco and Toronto. The new service to Hanover brings the number of German cities served by Aer Lingus to seven.
The city of Pula is situated on the Istrian peninsula of Croatia. The ancient city of Pula will appeal to lovers of culture with its diversity of attractions and to families with its long stretches of coastline and crystal clear sea and beaches.
Customers in the mid-West will enjoy ease of access to the Costa del Sol with a new twice weekly service to Malaga from Shannon airport. Aer Lingus will also increase the frequency of transatlantic routes from Shannon to New York and Boston, almost doubling the schedule and operating year-round.
Weekday flights from Cork to London Heathrow will increase from four to five daily return flights.
There will also be more frequent departures to a range of destinations from Dublin including Copenhagen, Corfu, Lanzarote, Lyons, Munich and Paris. Aer Lingus already operates flights from Britain to Dublin, with routes including Birmingham to Dublin and Glasgow to Dublin.
Commenting on the launch, Aer Lingus Chief Commercial Officer, Stephen Kavanagh said: "Our 2014 summer schedule brings new destinations and increased frequencies to a great mix of city break and summer sun options. Travelling for business or pleasure, enjoy our great value fares, convenient schedules and award winning service. We look forward to welcoming you on-board."
