American Cancer Society Honors Peter Hyans, M.D., Summit Medical Group Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Along with several colleagues in plastic surgery, Dr. Hyans was chosen as a 2013 Medical Honoree for his compassionate, expert surgical care of breast cancer patients.
Peter Hyans, M.D., FACS, is Medical Director of the Plastic Surgery Center and Chair in the Department of Surgery and Surgical Specialties at Summit Medical Group. A board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Hyans has more than 20 years’ experience in plastic surgery. His expertise includes facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. He has authored or coauthored articles about plastic and reconstructive surgery, which are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and regional lifestyle magazines.
