San Francisco is known worldwide for technology, food and art,” remarks Luiza Santos, creative director at Brigadeiro.me. “We thought bringing a new e-commerce site selling Brazil’s number one dessert is a perfect match for this class act city.

Brigadeiro.me, a one-of-a-kind Brazilian dessert, is announcing its official launch and their headquarters in San Francisco today. The delicacy is a mixture of European chocolate and condensed milk and is truly a national passion. These treats can be found at every wedding, birthday party, corporate event, a convention, coffee break, happy hours and holiday parties in Brazil. Co-Founders Diego Chedas, Lucio Novaes, and Luiza Santos are very passionate about the tradition of the Brigadeiros and are excited to be the first to bring these indulgent, handmade delicious treats to the West Coast with hopes of making this dessert as popular here in the USA as it is within Brazil.

“San Francisco is known worldwide for technology, food and art,” remarks Luiza Santos, creative director at Brigadeiro.me. “We thought bringing a new e-commerce site selling Brazil’s number one dessert is a perfect match for this class act city. We are so excited to start new traditions and showcase the Brazilian art of the Brigadeiro to the residents of SF.”

As a first of its kind in San Francisco, Brigadeiro.me will be offering more than 20 flavors including these favorites: the classic (best seller), caramel, coconut, passion fruit, pistachio, walnuts, peanuts and vanilla/chocolate cookie. Ordering these treats online is as easy as 1, 2, 3: a consumer can visit Brigadeiro.me, select the flavors of their choice, checkout and the Brigadeiros will be delivered in 1 to 3 business days. Consumers can purchase boxes of eight, fifteen, twenty-four and thirty Brigadeiros ranging from $12 to $31 dollars. Additionally, for those who want to remember the days of cooking in their parents kitchen and licking the spoon--then the Brigadeiro Jars are perfect for you. They come in four flavors: classic, white chocolate, pistachio and coconut ranging from $11 to $14 dollars.

“Right now, San Francisco proper is our test market and we will only be accepting orders within the city for the first couple of months,” states Santos. “If anyone outside of the city within the Bay Area is interested in ordering Brigadeiros for an event, a gift or themselves--we encourage them to contact us and we can set up arrangements.”

Brigadeiro.me will offer overnight delivery within San Francisco proper, an option to pick-up or be shipped via a delivery service. The company has plans to be shipping within the entire state of California by the first quarter of 2014 with plans of rolling out nationally within the year.
