By utilizing MRI, we will be able to create a vastly improved experience for our tenants. - Tony Murdocca, Director at Minto Marketplace

The investors of Minto Marketplace have taken on the task of renovating the formerly thriving Minto Mall into an updated facility that local residents can be proud of; no small feat considering the amount of refurbishing and construction that will take place throughout the rest of 2013. Well aware of the issues between tenants and the former management, Minto Marketplace is committed to providing the best customer service to their clients, and is confident that MRI Software and its award-winning property management solutions will provide the optimal platform to achieve these goals.

“We are happy that MRI’s suite of property management solutions has the functionality and flexibility we require,” said Tony Murdocca, Director at Minto Marketplace. “By utilizing MRI, we will be able to create a vastly improved experience for our tenants.”

Minto will take advantage of MRI Advanced Retail, a solution designed specifically for retail portfolios which has the capabilities to improve forecasting, tighten cost control, and increase staff productivity. The software includes a built-in percentage rent calculator that manages the full range of lease clauses, prorated breakpoints, cumulative and noncumulative methods, and estimated payments and offsets. Additionally, the highly flexible tool empowers users to track and integrate information about national tenants and chains, retail trends, comparative sales, sales history, lease details, and more. The powerful analytics will allow Minto to effectively manage all tenant leases and fees, all while maintaining accurate financial data.

“We are as excited as Minto Marketplace to be involved in the renovation of such a large project,” said Ron Kolz, CSO of MRI Software. “By utilizing our software solutions, the company will be able to focus on building tenant relationships as they expand their property portfolio.”

Minto will also take advantage of MRI Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), MRI’s award-winning hosting solution. With MRI SaaS, the business will be able to spend less time worrying about technology concerns and more time building a relationship with the Marketplace’s surrounding communities. Minto’s data will be protected at one of MRI’s highly secure Tier III+ data centers by detailed back-up and disaster recovery plans with multiple redundancies in place, ensuring minimal downtime in the event of an emergency. Finally, their data will be able to be accessed from anywhere with a valid internet connection.
