Duncan Lewis Solicitors raise £565.40 for Wear it Pink Charity
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 25 November 2013 -- The staff at Legal 500 recommended law firm Duncan Lewis Solicitors raised £565.40 for the Wear it Pink charity on the 8th of November through a variety of fundraising activities.
These included a bake sale, and across the Duncan Lewis offices, including Harrow, Tooting, Dalston and Lewisham, staff donned themselves in items of pink clothing. Donations raised from the fundraising activities added to £565.40, which will be donated to Wear it Pink to help fund research and treatments for Breast Cancer.
Duncan Lewis Solicitors joined hundreds and thousands of people across the country who took part in the Wear it Pink campaign.
Wear it Pink campaign helps to fund “ground-breaking” research into breast cancer treatments. Breast Cancer claims the lives of 12,000 women each year and 50,000 more are diagnosed.
Last year, Wear it Pink supporters raised £2.1 million in donations.
