Singletons set to sing Christmas Carols on top of the O2 roof as part of a unique dating experience from DoingSomething.co.uk
London (PRWEB UK) 27 November 2013 -- This latest event is created by the UK’s leading activity based dating site, DoingSomething.co.uk, and Up at The O2 following on from the popular dating Ping Pong tournament in September.
Once the daters reach the rooftop, they’ll unclip their safety harness and find themselves on a viewing platform, 52ft above London, which has been transformed into a winter wonderland. Two snow machines turn Greenwich into Greenland. Whilst we can’t guarantee live reindeer we’ve had it on good authority Santa will be attending.
Singletons will stay on the roof for 30 minutes and sing Alternative Christmas Carols including Fairytale of New York. As well as some festive classics.
Throw in a Christmas tree, some Thermos flasks of mulled wine and a Mince Pie or ten and you have the makings of a highly original festive date.
Dating site DoingSomething.co.uk takes the awkward out of dating. CEO Matt Janes comments, "We want to save people from the drudgery of the drinks-in-a-pub ‘Interview’ date. People who date the DoingSomething way do activities that give them something to talk about. And any one factor - bad Christmas jumpers - roof climbing - carol singing - would normally provide ample date distraction. Combine them all and you’ve got a veritable conversation fest."
The night is the second in the exciting partnership between DoingSomething and Up at The O2, offering singletons the chance to partake in an experience which will really help them get to know each other.
