After more than 30 years in manufacturing management, Steven Bingman decided it was time to break out on his own. Now the businessman is the proud owner of Fresh Coat Painters of Northeast Indianapolis.

Fresh Coat Painters offers residential and commercial painting services including interior and exterior painting, wood staining and finishing, and other services for nearly every protective coating application. They use quality, environmentally safe materials and offer a 24/7 customer service center, online scheduling and detailed quotes. Fresh Coat Painters of Indianapolis serves the Noblesville, Anderson and Geist areas as well as the surrounding communities.

“I worked under a boss for many years and decided it was about time for me to run my own operation. I went with a Fresh Coat franchise because I wanted to bring a painting company to our community that could offer great craftsmanship and service at an affordable price. That’s what Fresh Coat Painters of Northeast Indianapolis will do,” Bingman said.

As part of Bingman’s commitment to service, he wants people to know about Fresh Coat’s 3-3-3 pledge, which means calls will be answered in three minutes, a quote will be delivered in three days (customer schedule permitting) and the job can be started within three weeks.

“I think it’s important for people to know that Fresh Coat Painters is an employee-based painting company – not one that works with contractors. That employee-based model makes a difference because it leads to improved quality, customer service, and peace of mind for security conscience home owners. We know who our employees are and the high quality work they perform,” Bingman said.

“I’m excited to be opening my own business in our area. I know all those years leading manufacturing teams – including facilities of more than 500 employees – have made me a strong leader and taught me what it takes to run a solid operation. That’s going to have a positive impact on the business, my employees and our customers,” he added.

Bingman and his wife Diana have three grown children who live with their families in the Indianapolis area. He’s excited about growing Fresh Coat Painters of Northeast Indianapolis to support his family, but also to support the families of his painters.

“As we grow, I’m going to focus on taking care of my employees so they can have a stable, profitable future. Many painters in our community have to live job to job. I don’t want that to be the case,” he said.

Fresh Coat was founded in 2004 as part of Strategic Franchising Systems. In the last year, Fresh Coat has been included in the Bond’s Top 100 and named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 list. Fresh Coat also is part of the International Franchise Association, the Small Business Association’s Franchise Registry, VetFran and Minority Fran.
