Kim Brooks-Rodney has an impressive legal resume as well. Prior to becoming a personal injury lawyer, Kim worked for the US Department of Labor and Office of Corporation Counsel’s Civil Division. She also served as Assistant General Counsel for WMATA, trial lawyer for State Farm, and Managing Attorney of Hartford Insurance Company’s Staff Counsel Office in Alexandria, Virginia. Since switching to work for personal injury, Kim has helped her clients obtain millions of dollars in personal injury cases through her verdicts and settlements and has served as the lead attorney on multiple high-profile cases. Most notably, she was retained to represent the families of victims killed in the 2009 Metro crash in Washington, D.C. Kim currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington D.C. and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Prince George’s County Bar Association.

They were chosen to represent Morgan Lake, the woman whose vehicle was struck from behind and then propelled off of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
