Suitable Technologies Launches Beam Corporate Leasing Program for Organizations Seeking to Leverage Remote Presence Technology
Palo Alto, Calif. (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- Suitable Technologies, Inc. has revealed its new Beam Corporate Leasing Program to offer large organizations the opportunity to test the Beam remote presence system for a 3-year period. The Beam Corporate Leasing Program includes the latest client software, Version 2.0. Beam is a communication tool that allows teams to stay connected, expand their reach, and interact effectively across multiple offices or locations.
The Beam Corporate Leasing Program provides qualified accounts with a Beam for 36 months to discover the functionality within their organizations. Following this period, which requires a $4950 initial payment and monthly fee of $574, the company will own its Beam.
All Beams will operate on the new software client Version 2.0, which boasts lower memory and CPU overhead and more customization options. The more intuitive interface offers users more control over their screen real estate in a single, tabbed-window design and enables smooth animations and transitions. In addition, Version 2.0 includes a robust tutorial system and in-app instruction to help new pilots get quickly acquainted with the Beam. Current Beam customers will receive a notification upon their next login to upgrade their software client.
“Enterprises that have tested and purchased the remote presence technology have increased productivity and improved employee communication, regardless of where they work – in the next building or halfway around the world,” said Scott Hassan, founder of Suitable Technologies.
The Beam will make it possible for attendees of GovComm, in Washington, D.C., to participate in the kickoff for improving independence of wounded warriors.
“The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI) is excited to be part of the H-E-B Smart Homes team,” says Lt. General Rick Lynch, U.S. Army (Retired), Executive Director of UTARI. “We’re happy that Suitable Technologies’ Beam technology will allow people at GovComm to attend the H-E-B Smart Homes meeting on December 5th in San Antonio with Operation Finally Home representatives and all of our academic and industry partners.”
Beams will be on display at the upcoming GovComm13 show, in Suitable Technologies’ booth #345.
