CAPS placed 18th out of 45 in the category of Midsize Companies, an improvement over last year’s 22nd place ranking.
More than 68,000 Houston-area employees participated in this year’s event by evaluating their employers ranking them in such areas as opportunities for advancement, the value of pay and benefits, and company communication and management skills. 285 companies were evaluated for this year’s event.
“We are pleased to be included in this prestigious listing again this year,” explained CAPS CEO Taylor Norris. “In addition to the prestige, however, this activity provides us with some much-needed feedback from our own employees in a number of categories. The anonymity provided by the surveys allows for our employees to speak freely about these topics and provides us with data that is difficult to collect any other way. This year’s Top Workplaces companies included only two from the HVAC sector with CAPS the only manufacturing or service company to make the list from all three categories, Large, Midsize, or Small Companies.
