Double-Digit Growth Projected for DaVinci Roofscapes® in 2013 and 2014
Kansas City, Kansas (PRWEB) December 03, 2013 -- Following a year of housing market recovery, DaVinci Roofscapes®, manufacturers of polymer slate and shake roofing tiles, expects to end 2013 with top line sales increases in the double digits over 2012. And, the company anticipates experiencing double digit growth again in 2014.
"Our product offering was ideally positioned to immediately take advantage of the improving marketplace conditions in 2013," says Ray Rosewall, president and CEO of DaVinci Roofscapes. "We launched our Bellaforté Shake product in June of 2012 to complement our previous Bellaforté Slate offering. That gave us a complete product family with an attractive price point positioned to compete with premium asphalt and metal roofing products in the improving economy.
"The marketplace fully embraced the Bellaforté line in 2013 with the shake product achieving quadruple the anticipated sales figures for the year. On a percentage of sales basis, the Bellaforté family of products will have the greatest increase for our company in 2013, and we expect that to continue in 2014."
The patented features of Bellaforté roofing tiles, which include a leading edge tab and a self-aligning ledge, help reduce the installation time for the products. A square of Bellaforté tiles (with 100 pieces per square) weighs just 190 pounds. This lower tile weight helps reduce installation time and transportation costs.
All DaVinci tiles resist curling, cracking, fading, mold, algae, fungus and insects, making them ideal for installation in a wide variety of geographic areas. Just as with other DaVinci products, the Bellaforté tiles are 100 percent recyclable and come with a 50-year limited warranty.
"We expect sales for all of our product lines to grow in 2014," says Rosewall. "The Bellaforté family will continue to grow at a faster rate because the product's lower price point gives us access to a much larger market. There's also the factor that our products meet changing codes in specific geographic areas. Most importantly, homeowners enjoy the outstanding look and superior performance of our polymer products."
Factors Spurring Sales Growth
According to Rosewall, several factors, including the rebounding housing market and unexpected severe weather situations, have positively impacted product sales for DaVinci.
"During the past few years we've made great headway with increasing our sales network," says Rosewall. "That has helped us achieve brand recognition and sales growth throughout the United States and Canada particularly as the housing market recovers.
"We're constantly working to create a strong network of quality professional contractors who we believe will continue using DaVinci products in 2014. We have the best product mix possible connected to top-quality polymer roofing products and believe this combination will lead us to strong repeat product sales to contractors in 2014."
In addition to the recovery of the housing market, Rosewall cites unanticipated severe weather as another factor that can cause short term "surges" in roofing sales as homeowners deal with the aftermath.
"Unfortunately the severity and increased frequency of extreme weather events is predicted to continue in the future," says Rosewall. "Since storm damage often affects a home's roof DaVinci product are embraced by insurers, contractors and homeowners in areas that have experienced severe weather.
"In some regions insurance providers offer incentives to homeowners to use our products. In other areas people make the investment in our roofs after a storm because they have seen their neighbor's DaVinci roof successfully stand up against the severe weather. As always, we'll be ready to respond to the needs of homeowners in 2014 whether they're dealing with roof damage from a storm or simply the need to upgrade an older, inefficient roof."
