Zach Sobiech to Be Honored by a Choir of 3,500 Singing His Hit Song, "Clouds"
Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) November 27, 2013 -- On the first anniversary of the worldwide debut of Zach Sobiech’s hit song Clouds, KS95 Morning Show will host the “Ryan & Shannon’s Largest Clouds Choir” in the Mall of America Rotunda on December 5, 2013 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. as part of the KS95 for Kids Radiothon, which benefits local nonprofits Children’s Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare.
More than 3,500 voices made up of area school and church choirs and thousands of individuals of all ages will join together to sing the heartfelt and catchy lyrics of Clouds in honor of Sobiech, a teen from Lakeland, Minn. who passed away from osteosarcoma in May of this year.
Sobiech first shared his story and music on behalf of Children's Cancer Research Fund with Ryan & Shannon at last year’s KS95 for Kids Radiothon, and he quickly captivated the world.
Sobiech inspired millions with his positive attitude, and his steadfast support of other kids with cancer. The music video for Clouds has 8.3 million views, downloads for the song number 300,000 and it rose to #1 on iTunes, and more than 11 million have watched the documentary that chronicled his last days. Ryan & Shannon’s Largest "Clouds" Choir will be a fitting tribute to a remarkable young man who touched many lives.
