Social Assurity Leads Discussion on Teens, Social Media and College Admissions
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- Social Assurity today announced the first installment of an on-going series of free Google+ Hangouts providing a forum for school officials nationwide to openly discuss and explore the impact of teen social media use on their future academic and professional endeavors.
Each 45 minute segment will first examine how social media has become a place where teens are being judged by colleges and employers based on adolescent activities intended to impress friends rather than academic and career interests and then discuss ways to address the issue.
The inaugural set of sessions will be offered on Thursday, December 5th at 7:30 pm, Friday, December 6th at 9:30 am, and Friday, December 6th at 2:30 pm (all times Eastern Time). Space is limited so reserve your seat now.
