ADACEL Debuts All New LEXIX SRS At I/ITSEC
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- LEXIX, Adacel’s all new speech recognition system (SRS), debuts today at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando Florida.
Industry leader, Adacel, has developed LEXIX (pronounced leks-iks) for the specific purpose of optimizing human interaction with computer based simulations and operational voice command and control systems. The aim of employing speech recognition in these types of systems is to eliminate the reliance on manual human input. Speech based systems can increase effectiveness by mitigating distractions and errors inherent to manual control input devices and can reduce or entirely eliminate the need for supporting role-players in simulator operations. LEXIX is designed to overcome the obstacles within traditional recognition systems that hamper the effectiveness of direct speech interaction with the computer host.

LEXIX includes a comprehensive SDK to facilitate integration with 3rd Party systems and enables users to define and modify key parameters of the system such as constructing and editing command dialogs. It also introduces the ability for developers to define a form of situational awareness that can vastly improve recognition accuracy.

LEXIX is designed to use a similar technique to decipher the intent of phrases, which will result in increased recognition accuracy of the speech.
