Ponte Vedra Cosmetic Dentistry Supports Local Breast Cancer Research via Local Pink Ribbon Golf Classic
Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (PRWEB) December 03, 2013 -- Local Ponte Vedra, Fla. dentists, Drs. Michael Winter and Kevin Neal, of Ponte Vedra Cosmetic Dentistry, pledged their support as major sponsors of the 7th Annual All-Women Pink Ribbon Golf Classic that took place on October 10, 2013. According to the charity’s website, the golf tournament has raised more than $600,000 over the past seven years. All profits from the tournament support the Baptist Medical Center Beaches and Mayo Clinic – Jacksonville.
“We support this local charity for many reasons. It’s a fun way to fight a terrible disease that will affect an average of 500 women and men next year alone,” Dr. Winter said. “We’re there for the members of our community whenever they need us, and we try to be proactive and give back whenever we can.”
In addition to supporting breast cancer research and treatment, Ponte Vedra Cosmetic Dentistry is also providing a helpful tool to teach the community about the importance of oral health. The practice recently launched a revamped website that contains many interactive features including dental education videos and a free Smile Gallery feature that allows visitors to see actual before and after photos of cosmetic dentistry procedures in Ponte Vedra. The practice hopes the website will help visitors make more informed decisions about their oral health.
