COMLINK Teams With Netsource One to Serve Behavioral Health Community
East Lansing, MI (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- Network, voice, and cloud services provider COMLINK announced today that it has teamed with IT and managed services provider NetSource One to provide cloud-based server Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and IT services for several organizations serving the behavioral health community throughout the state of Michigan.
Under the partnership, COMLINK is providing redundant private cloud-based infrastructure and services from its datacenters and NetSource One is providing customer care. The solution replaces aging on-site IT infrastructure that the behavioral health organizations were using to meet their communications needs.
The arrangement allows NetSource One to provide its clients in the behavioral health community with cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant solutions that offer a higher level of reliability, service and support—without the cost and concern of new on-site infrastructure.
“It’s a smarter way of doing this,” said Andy Skrzypczak, president and CEO of NetSource One. “It allows me to go out and sell solutions that I would have been hesitant to sell before because of the limitations of the infrastructure. Because we can do everything from the cloud without worrying about purchasing equipment, we can give our healthcare customers the solutions they need at a price they can afford and keep up with their evolving needs without new capital expenditures.”
The partnership is the latest in COMLINK’s evolution as the leading provider of cloud services to the healthcare community. The company recently announced the completion of a HIPAA-compliant fiber network constructed to connect healthcare facilities throughout Michigan, as well as the launch of its Medisphere division to support healthcare providers throughout the Midwest with secure and reliable high-speed fiber network connectivity and cloud services.
“COMLINK’s partnership with NetSource One demonstrates both the customized services we can provide for healthcare organizations and our overall commitment to serving the healthcare sector,” said John Summersett, Chief Operating Officer of COMLINK. “We’re excited to collaborate with NetSource One and other providers, leveraging our cloud capabilities to provide state-of-the-art solutions to the challenging and always-evolving requirements of the healthcare community.”
COMLINK’s healthcare fiber network was initially constructed as part of the Rural Health Care Pilot Program (RHCPP), a federal government initiative that was conceived in 2006 to provide an infrastructure to connect rural healthcare providers to their urban counterparts.
