Cinsay’s ever expanding portfolio of intellectual property and patents place the company ahead of the competition in terms of providing businesses with an ‘easy to use and deploy tool’ for their sales and marketing.”

Austin, TX (PRWEB) December 20, 2013

Cinsay, the leader in social video commerce technology for web and mobile, has recently been granted two new additional U.S. patents supporting the company’s core technology. The patents are additional to Cinsay’s current IP portfolio. They allow Cinsay to expands its business model of delivering videos with direct built-in transactional capabilities for ecommerce, donations, lead generation, political contributions and other special clickable elements.

Since launching the full platform solution, businesses (SMBs), enterprise customers, nonprofits and musical artists have benefited from employing the technology, which produces conversions higher than traditional marketing and ecommerce sites.

Cinsay’s recent granted patents are as follows:

1) Patent No. 8,549,555 is an “INTERACTIVE PRODUCT PLACEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR.” is generally directed to Cinsay’s interactive product roll bar, which according to different configurations can be placed just outside a video or just inside the video. The items in the product roll bar correspond to product or services shown in the video and provide further information over at least a portion of the video when one interacts with such items. It is indifferent as to whether further interactivity results in a link out or non-link out scenario. The product roll bar can be in numerous different configurations in relationships to the video display. In particular configurations, the product roll bar can be a video overlay technology where any video feed may be utilized – be it video feed from Cinsay’s servers or video from external video servers such as YouTube. An example of this can be seen with Cute Totes’ video Smart Store.

2) Patent No.8,533,753 is an “INTERACTIVE PRODUCT PLACEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR”; has similarities with Patent 8,549,555; however, it has less restrictions on the initial display of the product roll bar. Additionally, it’s claims include certain occurrences associated with the product roll bar that happen on cue, for example, at a certain time or after an event (e.g., a mouse-over or a mouse click).

Some examples of these are featured within the Cinsay Marketplace shopping portal.

Cinsay continues to develop software and technology, which will lead next-generation ecommerce, transactions, interactions and social media for businesses and nonprofits.

Christian Briggs, Cinsay’s founder and CEO stated, “Cinsay’s ever expanding portfolio of intellectual property and patents place the company ahead of the competition in terms of providing businesses with an ‘easy to use and deploy tool’ for their sales and marketing.”
