NERETA Kicks Off "National Jobs Crisis Brainstorming Sessions" with Renowned Wharton Professor Peter Cappelli
Upper Black Eddy, PA (PRWEB) December 01, 2013 -- The North East Regional Employment and Training Association (NERETA) is proud to present the first in a series of webinar events called, the "National Jobs Crisis Brainstorming Sessions."
This first event is being held on Monday, December 2nd from 1 p.m. EST to 2:30 p.m. EST with internationally renowned Wharton professor and author Peter Cappelli, whose most recent book, "Why Good People Can't Find Jobs: The Skills Gap and What Companies Can Do About It," has brought attention to many fixable problems that could help alleviate some of the hiring and training problems faced by jobseekers in the US.

During this webinar event, Professor Cappelli will answer questions about how businesses and the public workforce system can work together to resolve some of the shortfalls with current hiring and training practices his research has uncovered.

She continued, "These are complex, multifaceted problems, but we can get people back to work if we all roll up our sleeves and tackle these issues together. LaRose explained, "In the last half hour of this webinar event, attendees will have the opportunity to ask Professor Cappelli questions directly, as we all brainstorm together how to address these very important workforce challenges. This is going to be an amazing opportunity to work and brainstorm together and may dramatically change how jobseekers and employers engage in the future."
