Bright Horizons Recognised in Education Investor Awards
Manchester, UK (PRWEB UK) 1 December 2013 -- Bright Horizons was announced as the winner of the Education Business award at the prestigious Education Investor Awards celebrated yesterday evening at the Hilton Hotel, London and hosted by Reeta Chakrabarti, BBC Correspondent specialising in Education and Social affairs.
Education Investor Magazine created the awards in order to promote excellence and recognise innovation in the education sector. The Education Business of the Year category is the “grand prix” of the awards and Bright Horizons is very proud to receive this recognition.
Carole Edmond, Managing Director of Bright Horizons, says, "We’re delighted to be Education Business of the Year in the Education Investor Awards 2013 and see this as a celebration of the great work that our staff do to provide high-quality early education to children and families. We understand from Education Investor that this year’s awards were highly competitive, with submissions up nearly 30% from last year so we are really proud of this achievement."
Everyone at Bright Horizons cares passionately about what we do for each child, family, and client, continuing to create environments where our customers feel special, unique and important, personalising their experience to build that emotional connection.
The past year has been one that we believe illustrates clearly the pride, passion, innovation and commitment that make Bright Horizons special. Even as we grow we keep at our heart our core purpose – the wellbeing and happiness of each child in our care.
Here are some of the judges’ comments:
• For clear commitment to the sector and investment in growth by acquisition, diversification, adding value, investing in its people, and thought leadership.
• Not only a great provider but an excellent employer and community asset.
• Business growth, structured and evidenced customer feedback, investing in employees, visible charity involvement, active political lobbying and moral engagement.
• A deserved winner focusing upon our youngest with care, attention and support for parents.
