Top Flight MMA Teens, Deidrick Smith and Jordan Stewart, Win Expert Division Championship Belts at the North American Grappling Championship.
Belcamp, MD (PRWEB) December 16, 2013 -- The North American Grappling Championships puts on one the premier grappling tournaments and with 2013 coming to an end, last week’s NAGA tournament was the last chance for 2013 NAGA gold.
2013 has been a break out year for Top Flight MMA team captains Jordan Stewart and Deidrick Smith, as both of them broke in the expert ranks bringing back gold in the division at other tournaments.
Stewart and Smith, both and attend area High Schools( Smith a Honor roll student at Joppatowne High school and Stewart a Honor Roll student at Aberdeen high school) and dedicate many hours to training and preparing for tournaments at Top Flight MMA. And their preparation would not be in vain, as Smith and Stewart, in their last chance for the year to win the NAGA belts, dug deep and gutted out impressive wins to claim expert division belts.
When asked about his accomplishment Stewart had this to say, ” This is my first NAGA belt; I’ve always wanted one, ever since the first time I saw one when I was competing in the beginner division. So it’s like a dream come true to earn a belt and I want to win more.”
Smith had this to say, “ It feels great to close out the year with another belt. I really worked hard for this and the expert division is tough, everybody is really good and use to winning so it make the belt mean that much more and I’m looking forward to winning more in 2014.”
