Auction of Top Fuel Drag Race Simulator by Super Auctions, December 7th 2013
Branson, Missouri (PRWEB) December 03, 2013 -- Super Auctions, the world’s largest entertainment auctioneers, are to sell a unique Top Fuel Dragster Simulator by auction on Saturday, December 7th 2013.
This one of a kind ride combines the acceleration of a roller coaster, creating an actual and sensational G-Force experience, with the principles of a simulator ride to give “drivers” the look, feel, smell and sound of racing a Top Fuel Dragster.
G-Force 150 is an actual size dragster that runs on a 150 foot straight-line track, propelled to high rates of acceleration - up to 330 miles per hour in just 4 seconds.
G-Force 150 integrates a G-Force experience with real footage from a drag strip race on front and side screens. Drivers are able to compete against each other over the speed of their reactions.
This is the only prototype of the patented G-Force 150 ride created by Bill Kelley and Steve Norbury.
The Ride
Nine drivers at a time can race in the G-Force 150 full size dragster. LCD video screens and surround sound recreate the sights and sounds of the drag race. The drivers step on the accelerator pedals when the light turns green and feel and see their car race down the track. The dragster is propelled by a pneumatically powered piston attached to a cable underneath the vehicle. On exiting the dragster, the drivers can compare their reaction times displayed on a video screen.
