13th Annual EContent 100 List Announced
Medford, NJ (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- EContent magazine, a leading authority on digital publishing, media, and marketing, today announced its list of the 100 companies that have had the most significant impact on the digital publishing and digital content world in 2013 with the release of the EContent 100.
Each year selection of the companies for the EContent 100 List falls to a team of judges including editors from Information Today, Inc., EContent magazine contributing editors, and other industry experts. The ever-expanding list of contenders made this the hardest year yet to narrow the list to just 100.
Companies honored this year include digital content providers and content creators, in addition to companies that support the infrastructure and technology of digital content. Among those named are 3M, AOL, Badgeville, Hulu, Kaltura, Netflix, Ooyala, ProQuest, Spotify, and Zinio.
"The task of narrowing down the list of companies that matter most in the digital content industry to just 100 names is becoming an increasingly difficult task. As the content ecosystem grows and flourishes, our jobs as the judges of the EContent 100 become more and more difficult," said Theresa Cramer, editor of EContent. “This is great news for the industry, and exciting for those of us who cover the space. We congratulate the companies that made it onto the 2013-2014 list, and look forward to seeing next year's contenders!”
