Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, the nation’s largest dermatology practice, acquires dermatology clinic on the West Coast of Florida.

ADCS Clinics (“ADCS”) announced it has completed the acquisition of Clearwater Dermatologic and Aesthetic Institute, a dermatology practice founded by Dr. Maria Elena Garcia-Cardona, a board-certified Dermatologist who has been in solo practice since 2008.

Dr. Cardona is internationally acclaimed for her cosmetic treatments and she strives to apply the latest scientific research to deliver the best possible patient care. She is also acclaimed for her use of combinations of injectable treatments such as botox and fillers to achieve great results without a look that reveals that cosmetic work was done.

Dr. Matt Leavitt, Founder and CEO of ADCS, said, “We are thrilled to have the talents of Dr. Cardona at Advanced Dermatology. She has a great following in the Clearwater area and has been featured on CNN Latino as an expert in cosmetic dermatology.”

“This acquisition enables us to expand our dermatology offerings in the Tampa market,” said Dave Morell, President of ADCS.

ADCS, founded in 1989 by Dr. Matt Leavitt, is a dermatology-focused practice with over 70 clinics in Florida and Ohio providing clinical, cosmetic, surgical and pathology services. ADCS also provides billing and coding management services for over 80 third-party dermatology practices across the nation under the Ameriderm™ trade name.
