Rimini Street’s updates include the 2013-F update for PeopleSoft licensees, which was delivered ahead of the vendor’s own scheduled delivery date for similar updates, as well as updates for SAP, JD Edwards and E-Business Suite licensees, as needed. The updates provide clients with significant new tax, legal and regulatory changes required for the U.S. and Canada, as well as Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, the UK and the European Union. U.S. and Canadian Updates
In the U.S. and Canada, there are numerous year-end updates including tax, reporting and filing changes required by the Internal Revenue Service, the Canadian Revenue Agency, and state, provincial and local governments.
For clients in the U.S., Rimini Street delivered tax, legal, and regulatory updates at the federal, state and local levels, many of which are effective January 1, 2014. At the U.S. federal level, Rimini Street updates include increases in the Social Security wage base and the Federal Allowance Amount for 2014. Additionally, Rimini Street provided updates related to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), as well as pension changes.
At the U.S. state and local government levels, Rimini Street delivered updates to Unemployment Insurance (UI) Taxable Wage Base figures for many states, including Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, New Jersey and Oklahoma, as well as increases to minimum wage amounts for Arizona, Florida, Montana, New York, Ohio, Oregon and Washington. Dozens of local tax updates were also provided for municipalities in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
For clients in Canada, Rimini Street provided many recently announced provincial and territorial tax changes. In addition to changes to Canadian federal income thresholds and federal personal amounts effective January 1, 2014, the updates also included changes to the Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Québec Pension Plan (QPP), Employment Insurance (EI), Québec Employment Insurance, and Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) limits.
Global Updates for Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, UK and European Union

For example, in Brazil, Rimini Street is working on updates related to the Brazilian Electronic Invoice (NF 2013-005) 3.10, effective March 2014, and also SPED Social, currently effective January 2014. In Singapore, changes required by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) to employee earnings reporting forms Appendix 8A and IR8A, as well as updates related to the Central Provident Fund (CPF), were included. The Company is also monitoring any Real Time Information (RTI) payroll start-of-year updates for clients in the UK, and will deliver changes to Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) credit transfers affecting clients operating within the EU.
