Record Low Temperatures in Oregon Mean Earlier Car Winterizing
Seattle, Washington (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- Automobiles are tough beasts, built to withstand an extraordinary amount of wear and tear through hours of operation on the open road. However, 2013 is looking to be one of the worst winters on record, and Complete Auto Loans estimates that only about 10% of car owners have made preparations to keep their cars running through the cold weather.
Complete Auto Loans has produced a guide for car owners (and prospective car owners) outlining some of the important steps that must be taken to avoid car malfunctions in cold weather. According to Rob Kaiser of Complete Auto Loans, "We produced the guide because we understand that the winter can be a dangerous time for cars and for drivers. Anything that we can do to keep cars on the road is a good move for us financially and ethically."
Starting with the winterizing guide on December 2nd, Complete Auto Loans plans to produce a guide every three days that will outline other aspects of winter car care and safety. Complete Auto Loans is pairing with a leading car safety expert to explore topics like winter survival kits and how to shovel out a car safely, just in time for the winter weather that will blanket Washington and the Pacific Northwest.
