Bureau of Reclamation to Hold Lake Berryessa Community Forum Meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Berryessa Senior Center
NAPA, Calif. (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- The Bureau of Reclamation will hold the next meeting of the Lake Berryessa Community Forum on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Berryessa Senior Center. Forum meetings are designed to promote public input on recreation opportunities and services at Lake Berryessa. The public is invited to attend the Forum meeting which will be held:

The Oct. 9 meeting, scheduled to be held in Napa, was cancelled due to the federal government shutdown. At the last Forum meeting, held Aug. 14 at the Winters Community Center, Reclamation staff and members of the Community Forum’s Coordinating Team discussed the status of recreation services, the progress being made on the request for proposals for long-term contracts, Reclamation’s activities for fire management for the 2013 season and management issues on the lake’s east side.
At the Dec. 10 meeting, Reclamation will provide additional updates on the status of recreation services and other planning efforts underway, including preliminary results of the Lake Berryessa Market Assessment and management issues on the east side of Lake Berryessa identified at the last Forum meeting.
Reclamation is working to implement the Lake Berryessa Visitor Services Plan Record of Decision and provide safe and enjoyable recreation experiences for visitors to Lake Berryessa.
