It is fitting that Palmer should be so new to motor racing, as O’Gara and Lamborghini Beverly Hills participated in the series to show just how accessible real Lamborghini racing experience can be for enthusiasts.
Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 03, 2013
After two days of racing at the historic Vallelunga circuit outside of Rome, Italy, the team from Lamborghini Beverly Hills, an O’Gara Coach Company, has concluded their first year of Super Trofeo racing by claiming victory at the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series World Final. Team driver Andrew Palmer, a Lamborghini racing newcomer who has yet to reach his 20th birthday, fended off a field of champions from the three regional Super Trofeo series to stand atop the final podium. Owner Tom O’Gara, who won the North America Sportsman category, also drove in the World Final, demonstrating that the joy of Super Trofeo racing is open to drivers of all ages.
At just 19 years of age, Palmer made the move from kart racing to motor racing just a few months prior to his championship run in Italy. After a breakout showing at the Virginia International Raceway during one of the later stages of the North American series, Palmer spent significant time with the team from Lamborghini Beverly Hills and the race support crew from Global Motorsports Group (GMG) training at The Thermal Club in the California desert. “What happened today was the best possible outcome we could have hoped for and I am thrilled with what we have achieved here together with Lamborghini Beverly Hills and GMG,” said Palmer, after the race.
It is fitting that Palmer should be so new to motor racing, as O’Gara and Lamborghini Beverly Hills participated in the series to show just how accessible real Lamborghini racing experience can be for enthusiasts. Throughout the series various clients of Lamborghini Beverly Hills took advantage of the openness of the Super Trofeo series as well as ‘Arrive and Drive’ packages created by O’Gara Coach Company to effortlessly take part in genuine Lamborghini racing. Exemplifying the gentleman racing spirit, Tom O’Gara participated in every stage of the North American series, eventually becoming champion of the Sportsman category.
“Lamborghini has provided a top program throughout the North American campaign, and to follow that up with a win at the World Final is the perfect end to a fantastic year,” said O’Gara. “The Super Trofeo series was created to be accessible to drivers of all ages and experience levels, and we hope that with the support packages we offer all our Lamborghini clients will have this thrilling experience themselves.”
Lamborghini Beverly Hills continues to develop new and exciting opportunities for their clients to experience the true power and exhilaration of their Lamborghini vehicles. With comprehensive ‘Arrive and Drive’ support packages, a world-class track facility located just inland from Los Angeles, and southern California’s most outstanding Lamborghini sales and service team, Lamborghini Beverly Hills is taking race fans out of the stands and putting them behind the wheel.
