VBrick Appoints Darian Germain as Vice President of Marketing
Herndon, VA (PRWEB) December 04, 2013 -- VBrick Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise video platforms, today announced the addition of marketing executive Darian Germain to the VBrick management team.
Germain’s career includes leading several of the streaming industry’s earliest, and most recent, start-up marketing successes; from the market launch of encoding platform pioneer Anystream (now Telestream) to the pre-acquisition positioning of Accordent Technologies (now Polycom) in the enterprise video space. Germain joins VBrick from broadband mobile technology leader Ascom Network Testing.
“Darian’s streaming industry and product marketing expertise will play a pivotal role as we unveil our new enterprise video platform product and service offerings in the coming year,” said Shelly Heiden, CEO of VBrick. “She has already set her sights on a complete evolution of the VBrick brand to highlight our new innovations while building on our core strengths that our customers rely on.”
“It’s a privilege to join the VBrick team at this point in the company’s evolution,” said Darian Germain, marketing vice president for VBrick. “There is tremendous demand for our enterprise video solutions and I look forward to increasing awareness of all the new capabilities that we’re set to unveil,” Germain said.
VBrick’s highly bandwidth efficient network delivery architecture leverages a central media management system which uses VBrick encoders and Distributed Media Engines (DME) to encode, trascode, trans-mux and transrate video so it’s delivered – locally – to end users in the data rate, format and size they require. In this way, VBrick enables IT departments to deliver even HD-quality live, streaming video to employees worldwide without compromising production applications on the corporate WAN.
